Reliable Reverse Acting Pressure Relief for High-Purity Sanitary Applications
The RAUS Series is a reverse acting sanitary metal non fragmenting design rupture disk engineered for overpressure protection in high purity pharmaceutical and biotechnology piping systems. Its robust, scoreless design provides higher cycle life than conventional rupture disks – protecting sensitive processes from contamination.
Designed for high-purity environments, the RAUS exposes only the smooth convex side of the disk to the process medium, reducing the potential for product buildup and supporting hygienic operation. The disk is self-supporting under full vacuum and performs reliably in liquid, gas, and two-phase applications. Installed using standard Tri-Clamp and Tri-Clover fittings, the RAUS enables straightforward integration into existing sanitary systems while delivering consistent performance.
